This section of our website is devoted to you, and meant to keep you updated with the goings-on at CVHS. Check here to find out what's happening, and please contact the Volunteer Manager if you have any questions about the information you see here. As always, we are so appreciative of the contributions you make to our organization. Your help makes a substantial difference in the lives of the animals that find themselves under our care. Thank you so much for everything you do to help CVHS in our mission to make possible a better world for all animals by providing shelter, educating the community about humane care and treatment, advocating animal welfare, and promoting the human-animal bond.

Every morning, our staff is busy cleaning cages and kennels, feeding the animals and walking the dogs. They sure could use some help! If you're available to help for an hour or more between 8:30 am and 11:30 am during the week, consider coming down to spend some time with the animals and give the staff a hand! To schedule a fixed weekly shift, call 749-5322 ext. 111 or email volunteerc@cvhsonline.org.
Saturday Evening BingoEvery Saturday night, Seacoast Bingo Hall in Somersworth hosts a Bingo game to benefit the animals at Cocheco Valley Humane Society. The game is run almost entirely by volunteers and a few more people are needed to fully staff the event. We are asking for a commitment of one Saturday evening per week. In order to volunteer at the Bingo game, you must be 21 years old and have a clean criminal record. This can be a fun and exciting volunteer opportunity, so give it a try! To get involved, call 603-749-5322 ext. 111 or email volunteerc@cvhsonline.org.

We consider CVHS volunteers to be the extended family of our organization. And that includes your Mollys, Nuggets, and Sids. So let us give them the recognition they deserve! Send in their photos and any interesting stories or tidbits of information they'd like you to share with us. One of them will be chosen to be the Pet of the Month in the next volunteer newsletter. Email photos and stories to: volunteerc@cvhsonline.org, or send to: CVHS; 262 County Farm Road; Dover, NH 03820; attention: Volunteer Coordinator.
