Adoption Fees
The fee schedule for adopting an animal from the CVHS is as follows:
| Un-neutered Cats and Dogs: | $65 plus a $50 spay/neuter deposit | |||||
| Neutered Cats and Dogs: | $75 | |||||
| Puppies and Kittens: | $70 plus a $50 spay/neuter deposit | |||||
| Ferrets: | $50 | |||||
| Rabbits: | $50 | |||||
| Small Animals: | $5 - $10 | |||||
| Exotics and Large Animals: | TBA - To be assessed at time of adoption | |||||
| Birds: | $10 - $15 | |||||
Upon adoption you also receive a free vet visit and a low cost spay/neuter certificate for the adopted animal if you live in New Hampshire. Ultimately, for your adoption fee, what you're really getting is a package of love wrapped in a fuzzy overcoat.
The adoption fee we charge is based on covering the cost of the services we have provided for that animal during their stay with us, including the following:
