Donating to one of our appeals ensures that we are able to provide the highest level of care to our shelter animals throughout the year. If you'd like to be on the mailing list to receive our three annual appeals, please contact the shelter at [email protected] or 603-749-5322 ex. 112. You can also give to our appeals online. Remembrance Gifts

There may be times throughout the year when you wish to pay tribute to others and conventional ways of expressing good wishes, thanks, or sorrow don't seem to be enough. These gifts may be made:

• as a gesture of sympathy or in memory of a loved one, friend, or pet;
• to honor special occasions, such as birthdays, promotions, anniversaries, or births;
• to wish a speedy recovery to someone who is ill;
• as an expression of appreciation for a job well done.

An acknowledgement of each Remembrance Gift is sent to the person or family of the person in whose name the gift is made as long as a mailing address is provided. No amount is mentioned unless the donor requests it. Donors receive a separate acknowledgement stating the amount of the gift for income tax purposes. You may give as often as you wish. You may also designate your gift for a specific use or allow the shelter to use it in the area of greatest need.

Making a Remembrance Gift

Remembrance gifts can be made by clicking any of the donating buttons at the top of the page and leaving a note is the "description" box telling us why the gift is being made, who the gift is in honor/memory of, and who we should notify about the donation (with an address). Donations can also be mailed to 262 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820 or can by made over the phone by calling Janet Quintero at 603-749-5322 ext. 112.

Matching Gifts 

Many companies match charitable gifts made by employees, retirees, and directors. These gifts are counted toward the individual's total giving to the shelter. Donors need to complete the paperwork from their human resources department and send it to Cocheco Valley Humane Society at 262 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820.

Donate Reward Points

American Express gives members the option to use their member points to make a donation to a charity. Donations are made through JustGive.org. 

Donate Your Vehicle
